1. Listing Stage
   We will list cars that are offered to us by the Japanese and UK market cars through dealer networks or exclusive access to dealership networks like the Japanese USS network.
2. Enquiry and First Inspection
   Once we receive an enquiry, client signs agreement and an initial deposit is paid the next step entails contacting our “ground” assets in Japan and the UK to physically check the car, confirm availability, do document checks and provide more data on the car.
3. Purchase
   If a car meets our internal standards we proceed to make purchase. Our assets will head to the dealership, sign the paperwork and take possession of the car. Vehicles are normally parked in special pre-export yard pending paperwork and further mechanical inspections.
4. Export Process & Last Inspection
   This happens at the shipping yard. The vehicle is officially “deregistered” from the country-of-origin registry and a certificate of export is issued. The last step is Govt of Kenya inspection which is done by a third-party company contracted by KEBS.
5. Shipping
   Once the export documentation is ready the vehicle is then loaded onto a roro ship which docks at Mombasa in 30-40 days. For air freight, arrival takes 3 days.
6. Delivery and Clearing
   This stage entails paying taxes to KRA, Registering the vehicles with NTSA and for UK vehicles, getting a clearance report from Interpol unit at DCI Kenya. This process takes five to seven working days. The final stage is delivery to Nairobi. All our units are ferried by licensed trucks.

In Kenya, there are certain duty exempted groups that can import vehicles without paying duties. These groups include diplomats, international organizations recognized by the government, and special categories such as disabled persons and returning residents. Diplomats are entitled to duty exemption on one motor vehicle for personal use during their tour of duty in Kenya. International organizations recognized by the government are also eligible for duty exemption on vehicles imported for official use.

Additionally, disabled persons in Kenya who can provide proof of their disability are exempted from paying import duties on one motor vehicle. Returning residents who have lived abroad for at least two years are allowed to import one motor vehicle duty-free, provided that the vehicle was personally owned and used for a minimum of twelve months before the return to Kenya. These duty exemptions aim to facilitate the mobility and accessibility of these specific groups in Kenya.    Seriously damaged vehicle. NOT in running condition.
2. Below Average
   Vehicle is running but has major mechanical/ body defects that require significant repairs (engine or gearbox replacement needed ,complete suspension or/and full body respray)
3. Average
   Vehicle in running conditon, but requires minor mechanical repairs and body repairs. ie (minor engine / gearbox / suspension repairs , paint correction or dent/scratch removal)
4. Very Good
   Vehicle in good working condition but might have some slight wear and tear ie scratches, interior scuffs or pending light maintenance (Service due, brake replacement)
5. Excellent Condition.
   The ultimate car. No single defect on this vehicle. Exceptionally clean and in near perfect condition.
